When i open a nautilus window as root and type fonts:/// it says Couldn't display "fonts:///". Nautilus cannot handle fonts: locations. so i'm not sure what to do
the ~/ is your home foler
Say your name is rtjhomps, then go to /home/rtjhomps/ then create the folder there.
the second way to do it is to go to a terminal, then type: mkdir .fonts
When you go to your home, press ctrl h to show all the hidden files (the ones with the . before the folder name)
drag and drop your font to the folder .fonts
Dont forget to run sudo fc-cache -f
Make a folder named .fonts in your ~/ add all the fonts in that folder. Then in the terminal, run sudo fc-cache -f
How would I go about finding the ~/ folder, where is it located?
