    I'm a new linux user switching from Windwos XP. How can uninstall/reversing the GTK patches.

      Problem solved. Only reinstall GTK lib and work fine. There is a trick too in the new "Global menu" patch official page. I like very much the theme but the real mac hack are the global menus.

    • No patches are installed thru Mac4Lin so there is no question of reversing. Unlike Windows everything can be changed/reverted at the click of a button. To remove the mac4lin pack just goto system > prefs > appearance and Select the Human theme to revert back to ubuntu default. Thats it :) No uninstalling anything! mac4lin is 100% safe...

      Yes there are optional patches to GTK libraries to make Gnome menu like OS X menu behavior.

       
    • They are not bundled with Mac4Lin and I'd suggest a new user not to install it unless you are comfortable with these patches. Mac4Lin works great without that patch too.
