To all Some comments I posted on the old forum in response to the ftp cleanup post. I guess we should try to communicate here Willem -------------------------------------- Gbee Thanks, it worked and I have made my own backup of the ftp-site now. I have picked up on the development again. I am reviewing Ilyes branch to try to extend it to the Creative cam. That cam has a 1.3 mpix (probably mt9v111) which I want to get working. I am also still focussed on the Jpeg part of the m5603. I am wondering who does anything with the m5602 parts. I still think it is just programming to get it to work. Reviewing Ilyes branch I noted he found out that to get the capturing to work without the intermittent startup failure which is present in the trunk, you need to write to register 0xff9 as often as you have Isoc-packets. This might be relevant for m5602 people as well. Also nice feature in deducing what the packetsize should be. The factor of three can also be decoded from the microframe repetition bits. Ilyes. You should patch your Livecam source to get it to compile with standard ffmpeg in distribution. Now the makefile refers to /home/Ilyes/... Also the recent patch, to have an error when the firmware is not there, should be included. After those two changes (and the vendor id included) the driver and the application work well with my sweex camera. The Bayer decoding is still too simple (see the code) and with the rgb24 format it crashes. It should help to develop a m5602 solution as well. |
