[Lxde-list] How to properly submit a patch for a bug?

Hi all,

I have fixed a bug in lxpanel, and I would like to know what is the best 
way to submit it. Right now I have uploaded it to my personal webspace 
and posted a comment on the bug report with a link to the patch, but 
there's got to be some better way.
