Hello again :-)
Sorry but I have a lot of questions.
I am trying to have wbar in my LXDE desktop but I am not sure where is the
best place to put a line to execute it automatically.
My command to start wbar is:
wbar -above-desk -p bottom -isize 40 -nanim 5 -brpress -balfa 0
I tried 3 ways:
1. I wrote the command in /etc/xdg/lxsession/LXDE/default (tested several
places in this file). wbar starts ok, works great but a button appears in
the taskbar, this is not desirable.
2. I created a .desktop file with the command. I put this file in
/etc/xdg/autostart . wbar starts, no button appears in the taskbar but
when I open any application wbar stays on top covering the appication.
3. I added the command to ~.xinitrc . xbar doesn't starts. It seems that
gdm prevents the execution of .xinitrc
My system is:
- Ubuntu 8.04.
- LXDE 0.3.2.1-1
- LXSession 0.3.2-1
- wbar 1.3.3
I will appreciate any help.
