I am running lufs on "Linux 2.6.10-5-686 i686 GNU/Linux"
I am trying to access my home directory at my workplace server by mounting it via ftpfs.
Lufs is properly installed and I confirmed it by trying localfs and mounting GNU's public ftp mirrors.
This is what happens, (I have changed the password and server name from the real values, but I am positive that I am using the correct values):
lufsmount ftpfs://myusername@myservername ~/mnt/lufs -o ftpactive -c 1 -p -v
executing command: lufsd none /home/rajat/mnt/lufs -o fs=ftpfs,host=myservername,username=myusername,password=mypasswd,channels=1,ftpactive
could not mount filesystem!
I am able to mount public FTP sites but not my workplace directories.
The solaris server I am connecting to is: SunOS servername 5.8 Generic_108528-15 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-Enterprise
Help will be sincerely appreciated :-)
