#9 Issue: Remote Debugging Under Win7

When connecting to localhost, LuaEdit2010 always get a ipv6 address under Win7 by default. so the program will throw an "Could not connect to debug server' exception. This can be fixed by checking the ip address family in C#.


  • I developped Windows 7 at first on XP and now I develop LuaEdit2010 under Windows 7 and never got this error.

    Can you please let me if your network settings are configured in such way that it only uses ipv6 addresses?

    This is an issue with the computer, not LuaEdit. I had this same issue, but my computer was configured to prefer IPv6 over IPv4.
