Hien Nguyen, The LTP testsuite has to be ported to work on ppc64 machines, there are=20 some 32-64 bit issues that has to be looked into. Currently LTP is=20 unsuitable for PPC64, but, a PPC64 friendly version will be available=20 pretty soon. You can patch the test by hand if you require to run them=20 urgently or wait for the PPC64 friendly release of LTP. Thanks Manoj Iyer >I tried semctl01 and semop01 (ltp-20020108 version) on my B80 system >(ppc64) with SuSE SLES 7. I got the following errors: > >=A8lteuser@d4lte:/ltenew/ltp2/testcases/kernel/syscalls/ipc/semop> ./sem= op01 >-t >semop01 1 BROK : semctl() failed in functional test >Segmentation fault > > >=A8lteuser@d4lte:/ltenew/ltp2/testcases/kernel/syscalls/ipc/semctl> >./semctl01 -t >semctl01 1 PASS : buf.sem_nsems and buf.sem_perm.mode are correct >semctl01 2 PASS : buf.sem_perm.mode is correct >semctl01 3 PASS : semaphores have expected values >semctl01 4 PASS : number of sleeping processes is correct >semctl01 5 PASS : last pid value is correct >semctl01 6 PASS : semaphore value is correct >semctl01 7 PASS : number of sleeping processes is correct >semctl01 8 PASS : semaphore values are correct >semctl01 9 BROK : Unexpected signal 11 received. >semctl01 10 BROK : Remaining cases broken >Segmentation fault > >Is that testcase problem ?
