unlink08 test 2 has been FAILing on the -mm tree when executed as root on 2.6.0-test9-mm[34], 2.6.0-test11-mm1 and 2.6.0-mm1. bash-2.05b# ./unlink08 unlink08 1 PASS : unlink(<unwritable directory>) returned 0 unlink08 2 FAIL : unlink(<unsearchable directory>) Failed, errno=13 unlink08 3 PASS : unlink(<directory>) Failed, errno=21 I've seen this on XFS (uniprocessor) and ext2 (smp). When executed as a non-priviledged user, unlink08 PASSes. /usr/src/sources/l/ltp-full-20031204/testcases/kernel/syscalls/unlink$ ./unlink08 unlink08 1 PASS : unlink(<unwritable directory>) Failed, errno=13 unlink08 2 PASS : unlink(<unsearchable directory>) Failed, errno=13 unlink08 3 PASS : unlink(<directory>) Failed, errno=21 2.6.0 vanilla passes the unlink08 test. Anyone else seen this? -- Randy Hron http://home.earthlink.net/~rwhron/kernel/bigbox.html |
