(apologies if this is not the right place to ask these questions, where is it
I have the following output when using lcov with a project of mine:
Capturing coverage data from .
Found gcov version: 4.1.2
Scanning . for .gcda files ...
Found 17 data files in .
ERROR: reading string
And then it exits, without processing some more .gdca files. I tried adding
the --ignore-errors switch but it doesn't seem to work.
Any help is appreciated. Please reply directly since I'm not subscribed to

I added a workaround patch by scott.heavner@... to the CVS version of LCOV. The --ignore-error=source switch of that version should make lcov ignore the file in error.
