The Linux Test Project is pleased to announce the latest release of the=
Database Opensource Test Suite (DOTS), 1.1.1.
New features in v1.1.1:
The new version of DOTS is mainly intended to make the DOTS independent=
Linux kernel (current and future) releases. Besides taking care of the
changes in the proc file formats, the current DOTS release has changes =
the HowTo documentation too.
Database Opensource Test Suite, DOTS, is a set of test cases designed f=
the purpose of stress testing database server systems in order to asses=
database server performance and reliability. DOTS is made up of two tes=
case categories: Basic and Advanced test cases. The primary goals of th=
Basic Cases are stress testing and ensuring 100% JDBC API coverage. Th=
goals of the Advanced Cases are modeling a real-world business applicat=
and stress testing database servers. There are ten test cases in total,=
written in Java for platform independence.
