First I want to say Thank You for lockmeter and
and lockstat! They are helpful and I appreciate SGI
keeping it maintained with the recent kernel versions.
On to my question...
I know 2.4.10 was just released a couple days ago so
it might be asking a lot for an ETA on the lockmeter port, but
I have to ask. I tried applying the 2.4.9 lockmeter diff to 2.4.10.
It looks like the /proc interface to lockmeter has changed with
2.4.10? I could try to figure it out but I was wondering if anyone
knows when a patch might be available? I volunteer to Beta test
anything anyone else might have put together ; )
I am porting a dcache_lock patch to 2.4.10 and it would
be nice to post some lockmeter numbers when I am ready.
By the Way - Is there a way to print lockstat results
in the order of contention? It would be nice to see the worst
contenders right at the top. Anyone written a script to do that?

I replied to Hanna, but I ought to reply to the broader mailing lists,
too. I'll try to get to the 2.4.10 port in the next couple of days. I
haven't looked at 2.4.10 to see what hoops I need to jump through.
