Proxy Issue

A user who was successfully using CalSync had to change his passwords (it was simply time for new ones).  After he did that, CalSync suddenly popped up a box asking for his Proxy Credentials.  We had never specified them before and CalSync simply went through the proxy fine.

How does CalSync detect and handle the proxy settings?  He's getting errors (407, I believe) that indicate a proxy is needed.  When he enters the proxy id/password, it still fails.  So, something must be messed up.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks!

When you say "change his passwords" are you talking about just his Lotus Notes password?  Or is he also changing his password to logon to his machine?

CalSync detects if a proxy is need and then tries to use the proxy with the default credentials (the account that he/she is logged into the machine with).  If that doesn't work, it displays the proxy login prompts.  I'm wondering if he/she just changed their password to logon to the machine if that password is still not recognized by the proxy server.

I have a similar issue with the Proxy Settings. When using an http proxy requiring authentication, no Proxy Login Prompt appears. The log just shows that Proxy Authentication is Required, but no box pops. I've pasted the relevant portion of the log file below:

Can you paste the entire log?  It's missing the authentication section.
