After my company saved the proxy settings, CalSync doesn't work anymore.
Now the proxy uses an automated configuration script which isn't detected by CalSync.
Then CalSync prompts to enter credentials, but there are none.
So, what can I do?
Regards,
Chris

So it was working before? Try renaming the CalSync.settings file to something else. This will reset the CalSync settings and see if that helps you to login.

While CalSync doesn't work anymore, my Firefox still works with the same settings as before - strange….

I'm guessing you're company is using a PAC file to detect proxy settings. If you can manage to open the URL with a text editor, like UltraEdit, you should be able to find the proxy address there. I'm not sure if that will help.

I have one more idea on what could be causing the problem but it will take me a couple days before I can make the code changes to test. I'll post here when I have something ready.

BTW, I have the funny feeling, that CalSync does not accept my manual proxy settings I took out of the script.
Could you possibly add the option to override the automatic proxy detection with manual settings?

So you were able to get this to work before? Did you just find the right proxy settings? It seems that your company is determined to prevent CalSync from running there :).
Unfortunately, my hands are really tied here when it comes to proxy issues. Other than playing with those settings I don't know what else I can offer as a suggestion.

Yes, it did work before. I got the proxy settings out of the .pac-script and entered them manually in IE (I guess CalSync takes the settings from there).
But now, out of incomprehensible reasons, it does not work anymore :-(
I guess you are right and my company is REALLY determined to stop me from syncing my Notes data.
AAAAARRRGHHHH!!!!
;-)

I certainly mean

The automated configuration script is just a URL, right?
I'm guessing you're company is using a PAC file to detect proxy settings. If you can manage to open the URL with a text editor, like UltraEdit, you should be able to find the proxy address there. I'm not sure if that will help.
Right, it's a PAC file…
There three different proxies mentioned, but none of them works :-(
Can you access this URL from a browser?
www.google.com/calendar/feeds/default/owncalendars/full
nope: "Authorization required"
Try signing into your Google Calendar and then access the URL.
doesn't work either: IE tries to download the file….
I have one more idea on what could be causing the problem but it will take me a couple days before I can make the code changes to test. I'll post here when I have something ready.
Thanks, this is great!
BTW, I have the funny feeling, that CalSync does not accept my manual proxy settings I took out of the script.

Unfortunately login doesn't work anymore after it did some weeks ago :-(
Can you post the verbose log?

Yes, after CalSync tried to log in and timed out, I was prompted to enter proxy credentials, which didn't work…
