Actually this is wierd. Audio files should not be overwritten. The scheme is quite simple. When MusE creates a new file it lists all rec*.wav files and finds the first unused number. You will get a lot of files that are very hard to keep track of but no files should have been overwritten. ...though this is the nature of bugs, things don't work as supposed... > > anyway, i only vaguely remember this behaviour now, but i think this is > definitely something to get behaving properly.
