Category: Audio Group: 0.9.x Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 7 Private: No Submitted By: cargobidibulle (cargobidibulle) Assigned to: terminator356 (terminator356) Summary: Some of the audio is not played Initial Comment: This is not a major bug. Regularly, Muse seems to forget the existence of an audio element within an audio track. The element is still displayed and available for edit, but cannot be played (it makes no sound). This problems stops when Muse is restarted. Anyway, thanks for Muse. (or two) https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=1092294&group_id=93414&atid=604222 https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=1096835&group_id=93414&atid=604222 Does this still happen with current cvs? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: cargobidibulle (cargobidibulle) Date: 2008-03-04 16:29 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=1998518 Originator: YES Hello, Yes, I have a similar way to cause that bug: I take one audio recording, split it in two, and bring the right part slighty toward left. Cheers ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Comment By: terminator356 (terminator356) Date: 2008-03-04 05:42 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=606684 Originator: NO I believe I can now reproduce this bug and I would consider it major! As I said, it's reeeeally annoying when trying to compose songs. Tested so far with 2 waveparts on a track: I can make it happen sometimes when I simply move one of the wave parts. No sound from the part. Then if I move the other part, even just a small amount, the sound will come back. If you follow the developer mailing list, you know I will be posting some changes soon which fix a DIFFERENT set of bugs, some are related to gluing/splitting waves, which sometimes also cause wave part muting. But I believe this bug is different. Getting out my can of special bug spray... I'll keep you posted... I could be wrong. I will pay more attention from now on. I just upgraded to version 0.9. If it is the same bug I am thinking of, I have seen it. It can be very frustrating when it happens. It is a difficult bug to reproduce. But I will keep my eyes open for it, and I will try to reproduce it and fix it. It may (or may not) take some time! Meanwhile, please use the stable 0.9 release, or the latest CVS version, which are much better than pre2. Thanks. Tim. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=604222&aid=1885136&group_id=93414 |
