Someone mentioned this before and I said I would try to fix this. (There is a line in the code which is supposed to do that, but it doesn't appear to be doing its job.) Muse does respond to positioning commands (like seek to bar, rewind etc). What happens if you just run muse alone without any external HW connected, or at least without HW running and sending commands? My point was that as long as the 'song length' says more than 1 bar, you *should* be OK. Obviously you have more than 1 bar. I think someone (Geoff?) reported these same problems recently, but I don't remember what became of it... I plan to install one of these "cutting edge" distros just to see what's going on. But Gentoo? No time for that. It'll have to be Arch or something. I will also try to observe these problems on my current distro. Tim. |
