One thing that I also would love is to have the possibility to call some
shell script/external command that would perform operations on selected
notes and return. It would give MusE a very flexible way to implement
f.ex. groove stuff. The realtime midi filters in MusE 2 is one thing
that could do this, but sometimes you want to do more batchlike work. It
would also be possible to wrap the functionality of the MusE2 midi
filters in an external command to use them in batch mode. Is anyone else
interested in this functionality as well?
Files in a specific directory could be scanned and added to a 'script-fu' submenu in the editors.
