There is now a script that can convert songs made in 0.6.* to 0.7 format in a
reasonably compatible format.
I've successfully converted several of my own 0.6 songs with only minor tweaks
to get them comparable.
Drummaps probably do not get converted yet as I haven't looked at it. There
are some known issues with FluidSynth also, it's save format changed between
the versions, all soundfonts are restored though and most are more or less
correctly set up.
If anyone wants to try it out it's here:
Please report successes and failures.
To use it, either set the execute flag on the script:
chmod a+x muse-song-convert.py
or use python to execute it: python muse-song-convert.py.
Add the song you want to convert as an argument, the new file will be stored
under the same filename but .converted added at the end.
will yield song.med.converted
The original file should not be touched, still it's a good thing to
