Would you like a menu icon to be designed?

(If you have no interest in menu icons please read no
further, close this thread and we'll make no further
mention of it ;)

I have noticed that the Debian package for MusE lacks a
menu icon.

FYI: The Debian menu system uses 32x32 pixel XPMs,
which would be located in this instance at
/usr/share/pixmaps/muse.xpm and referenced from the
menu file /usr/lib/menu/muse with a line like this:

icon="/usr/share/pixmaps/muse.xpm"

I'm sure the Debian package maintainer will be able to
make these changes so long as a suitable icon is
provided with the source code. I'm on a mission to make
the multimedia menus look as good as possible, so I'm
encouraging developers to include icons or point me to
suitable resources from which I could create one. I
have already designed a set of generic default icons
for multimedia applications, which will continue to be
used in DeMuDi until we come up with a better solution.

If you're not graphically inclined, I'm offering to
create a suitable icon and submit a menufile patch to
the maintainer for the Debian system into the bargain.
Please email me with your requirements if this is the case.

Thanks for taking the time to deal with this, and
thanks for all the effort you have put in to making
great free software.

First of, I am very sorry for insane delays. I saw this feature request already
at LAC but did unfortunately not act on it :-/.

There is an icon in the distribution:
    packaging/muse_icon.png.
Let us know if this fits the bill!

    /Robert

Yep. The harp image is fine I have converted it to .xpm and
will send a patch to Daniel Kobras so that it can be
    included in the Debian version.

I see I already did that: Debian BTS #299389 4 months ago,
so far I've had no response, possibly because I reported the
wish against v0.7.1pre2-1, which is the demudi version
rather than the debian one. I'll open a ticket with demudi
    too. Still an SEP AFAYC.
