System: mandrake 10.1
- Kernel 2.6.8 Custom with realtime module inside.
- modprobe realtime gid=29 is Ok !
- All modules where download using mandrake mirrors (urpmi)
- jackd 0.98.1
Muse doesn't start ( what about -R option ?)
Signal is :
(some how ... sorry I dont' remember) /dev/rtc invalid
argument

Strange is that the same packages(muse 0.7.0) on
Mandrake 10.0 kernel 2.6.3-4 NO REALTIME starts.

Sorry I'm going mad about it. I hate Fedora .... I
really want to work on my Mandrake.

    Hi,

I've read this bug up and down several times. Not until now it dawned on
me that you were trying 0.7.0 on both systems.
It is highly likely that you have a kernel where RTC is malfunctioning.

    Two solutions:
    1. Recompile the kernel so RTC works (There are a few hoops, I would not
    recommend it)
    2. Use MusE 0.7.1, it does not use RTC and is thus immune.
