Using the list view to insert meta events functions properly for the given session, and exports the midifile correctly.
Saving and loading the *.med file however does not appear to keep this data.
After loading, all mete event types default to 'sequence number' (0).
In the *.med file, all meta events are listed as
<event tick=(correct value) type="5" datalen=(correct value)> (correct values) </event>
There does not appear to be any mention of these meta events anywhere else in the file, and the events in the file do not appear to adequately contain the type information for the meta events. (All events have ' type="5" ', is this correct behavior?)

The ability to insert meta events is vital, and why we are considering this application over many others. While exporting the midi files is fine so far, going back to edit the files again in a different session is pretty important. While the only thing that appears to need to be re-entered each time is the meta event's type, we have a fair amount of them, and it's prohibitively difficult to re-enter them with only the most recently exported midi file as a reference to what type they were.

Ok try it now. The fix is in the new MusE-1 SVN branch.
Sorry for the late reply. We don't seem to be getting
    notified on bug reports.

    Tim.
