If I actualy record audio with MusE, I usualy delete
the clip to rename and edit the audiofile and to move
it to a subdir.
MusE generates a number of rec*.wav files in the dir
where the .muse resides each time I load the song. All
with 4k size. Well, it shouldn't do this ;)

    I cannot reproduce this.
.muse, is that the home dir?

Could you give a short step by step how you go about ?

No, with .muse i meant the song file, like 01.muse.

    - Record some audio
    - Delete the part form arrangement
    - (Edit the new wav file with an editor like sweep)
    - Move the wav file to a subdir "parts"
    - (do the above with several parts)
    - Save song, quit
    - Start MusE / load song

Now I'm not sure wether the "ghost" rec??.wav/wac files are
created as soon as you load the song, or if you need to
    record a new part.

I've tried different approaches but I can't reproduce
    this.
