For me this is rather a way of making sure I don't break something. It also happened that LMMS broke the project file removing all ZynAddSubFX preset data from it - plain sinusoids ensue! In such a case I can still resort to the previous version - possibly copy all preset data from it and use with the new sequences. Saving new versions. I will file an issue.
