ok guys,
I'm not into politics or anything, so I probably suck at explaining ... but I'll try it anyway :)

The "brand" LMMS is not that important, it's the product itself that is ... Google branding is nice to have,
if a brand is all you're selling, that is. It's just a search engine, possibly allowing average Joe to stumble
on LMMS when querying "make music" or something alike ... SEO is a bitch.

The product as it is now, is known not because of its name, nor because of Google tagging,
but because of what it is; if someone is into making music, he'll actively look for the right
product; lots of other tools out there as you all know.  I doubt any of you exclusively use LMMS ;-)

So, as for picking a name ... If I were to buy a t-shirt, I'd prefer "Loopix" on it to any
acronym (except OMFG). The world already has too many abstractions !

grtz,
Gert

PS : this is not an advocacy for "Loopix", rather for NOT an acronym ... and "elements" sucks too :p

I like "Love Making Music Studio" and "Lively Music Making Studio",
or even "LMMS Music Making Studio" ;)
