its hard to discribe how logic studio does it, but then it has alot of other features you can tweak and have fun editing the wave form of the file etc.

If your goal is to make something the end user can't tweak (for whatever
reason you'd want to do that rather than just sharing your project), why
not just render a WAV file and distribute that?
