I would really appreciate if you posted that sidechaining example. I actually thought that it was not possible corrently.

no problems at all!, glad that it helped.  I've actually been getting
really excited about using LMMS since I found out what was creating
allot of bad audio stutter when playing back my projects (now it only
stutters occasionally - Windows2000, 256 RAM).  I'll be posting on the
LMMS site as I come up with examples. I'm posting an example of
side-chain compression with text on how to accomplish the effect in a
few mins
