On the other hand, when I compose on my piano I will often compose in other time signature's, in my most recent case 6/8. Well, when I tried to then "make" the song in lmms I realized that, although lmms was in 6/8, the 8th I tried to add notes did NOT correspond correctly. They should have filled up ONE "grid block" in the 6/8 pattern but they don't, which means that LMMS is not interpreting and 8th note (or any othe for that matter) correctly. I have similar results in many other time sigs including 5/4 and so on. This is DEFINITELY something that needs to be fixed with the next update.

Okay, let's put some repro steps in here...

Apparently LMMS is drawing notes at the wrong place in Pianoroll. Notes on the left side of the pianoroll window display correctly, but the notes on the left side seem to be offset to the left by a bit. If you scroll forward, the notes migrate to the correct place.

    1) Start a new project.
    2) Set the Time Signature to 5/4.
    3) Open up pianoroll on the default track.
    4) Fill in 4-5 measures of quarter-notes (16-20 quarter notes) and zoom so that you can see them all.

You'll notice that the notes on the left are fine, but notes become successively more offset to the right of the window.

If you scroll right, you'll see the notes migrate back to the proper positions as they are scrolled to the left.

The music plays properly, it's just Pianoroll seems to have a hard time with weird time signatures.

Whooops. "Note on the left side of the pianoroll window display correctly, but the notes on the left side seem to be offset to the left by a bit." is wrong.

It should be "Noteson the left side of the pianoroll window display correctly, but the notes on the right side seem to be offset to the left by a bit."

And Sourceforge doesn't let me edit comments. Great. Sorry for the sloppiness, I'll be more careful next time.
