We are glad that you've moved up the kernel for this release. We have been
receiving a lot of queries/requirements internally as well as some on this
list for lkcd on a later versions of the kernel - most of the time the
requests have been for 2.4.17 (or 2.4.16).

Hey, everyone. There's a linux-2.4.15 TEST patch available for
the latest code snap. Almost every piece of code is in, with the
exception of a change to make /dev/dump a character device (there's
a few good reasons for doing so). This is not fully tested on my
servers as of yet, but I'm in the process of doing so. It could
be I end up putting out another version pretty quickly.
In any event, let me know what you think. I spoke with a number of
people, and they didn't have any problems with moving to 2.4.15 for
the next 4.X snap of LKCD. If you do have a problem with that,
please let me know right away.
