  • Hi!
I have installed LiVES 0.9.8.6 on Zenwalk Linux. And when I start LiVES, this message appears

    LiVES 0.9.8.6

JACK compiled with System V SHM support.
    loading driver ..
    creating alsa driver ... hw:0|hw:0|1024|2|48000|0|0|nomon|swmeter|-|32bit
    control device hw:0
    configuring for 48000Hz, period = 1024 frames, buffer = 2 periods
ALSA: final selected sample format for capture: 32bit little-endian
ALSA: use 2 periods for capture
ALSA: final selected sample format for playback: 32bit little-endian
ALSA: use 2 periods for playback

My jack driver seems to be broken :( How can I fix this. I tried to reinstall jack and portaudio from repo, but with no luck.
    Is this a version mismatch?

    Sorry for my English. Thanks!

I have no idea - maybe the jack developers can help you with this.

    • Last versions solves my problem
      LiVES 0.9.8.10 + jackd 0.109.2 + libvisuals
      Now everything works fine!
