  • Hello

Could you please explain why Live Razio is working on VirtualBox and not on VMWare ?

    Best regards

    Hi

Because VirtualBox is better than VMWare ? ;-)

I don't use VMWare, then I didn't know that Live Raizo doesn't work on VMWare.
Perhaps VMWare isn't compatible with Debian Jessie ?

For the next release (soon), i think to downgrade to Backport Wheezy.

    Hi

I have uploaded a new version which uses Debian Wheezy.

Could you test it and say me if you have the same problem ? Thank you

    Hi

On my VirtualBox, "Live Raizo" works correctly, but his Debian VMs are very very too slow to start.
But, I doesn't want to really correct this "bug" : while my students must launch "Live Raizo" as an real OS, I am sure that they can't do another things with their computer during my lessons ;-)

    Hi all,

Dave, how did you manage to make it work on VMware Workstation? Which are the raizo/vmware versions?

    Thanks in advance! :-)
    Bye

    Hi

I can look after why "Live Raizo" doesn't boot with VMware.(I have tried with VMWare Player 6.0.3.)

But it is very strange that it doesn't work with VMware because I don't change anything on the system, and it works correctly with VirtualBox. I will try with a basic system

    Hi

    I have an clue :
With VMWare Player, in setting of my VM, I go to Display. I uncheck "Use host setting for monitors" and check "Specify Monitor Setting". I choose : "Number of Monitor" 1 and "640x480" for "Maximum resolution of any one monitor".
Upon starting the boot VM, VMWare asks for "undefined video mode number". I tape space.
    Live raizo boot correctly
