I presume is due to a burst of inputs each time a button is >pressed. LIRC and WINLIRC are supposed to send 5-6 NON-identical signals in this situation. The second number of the first signal should be 00, and should be incremented in subsequent signals (as long as the button is held down). When the button is released and pressed again, it should start over at zero. This is documented here: http://www.lirc.org/html/help.html#new_remote Client applications can then choose how to handle repeats. If your "signals" really are identical then it is likely that the gap value is too small (but also possible that eps/aeps are set too high). Increasing the gap value should allow these signals to be detected correctly. AFAIK, there is no way to configure WinLIRC or LIRC the way you want (without modifying the source). However if you set the gap longer than it should be, and add a special repeat code to a remote that shouldn't have one, then you can get ONE "signal" for every TWO button presses. >I'm using an RX receiver (what effect will changing the virtual pulse do??- >changing it's value seems to do nothing) The RX receiver (not supported by LIRC) cannot detect the pulse lengths only the pulse+space length. the virtual pulse essentially fakes these so that all pulses are that length. Details about this receiver are available here: http://cmail.info.kuzbass.net/~nav/WinLIRC.htm You sent this to the LIRC list. I think you meant to send this message (or at least the last part of it) to the WinLIRC list: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/winlirc-list |
