Hi Andreas, With 2 identical cards it is going to be harder to match one of the cards, but I would suggest using a udev rule matching the PCI address of the correct card you want to use. On my PVR system I have 3 identical DVB cards, and although I don't use their IR receiver, 3 /dev/input devices are created. For example, using the command # udevinfo -a -p $(udevinfo -q path -n /dev/input/event2}) tells me which PCI address the input/event2 device belongs to (you might need to change this to match your device names). You could then use the output from this command to construct a rule that always matches the particular card, based on its PCI address (Which I do not think changes as long as the card stays in the same PCI slot). The udev rule HOWTO is a great place to learn how to construct rules using SYSFS attributes: http://www.reactivated.net/writing_udev_rules.html#sysfstree Good luck, Nick -- MythTV Official wiki: http://mythtv.org/wiki/ MythTV users list archive: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/mythtv/users |
