Hi, I'm trying to set up lirc for my Ubuntu Feisty with no success. I have the irman module (homebrew many years ago) which I got working with some Pioneer CD remote with no problems. But that was for debugging. Irrecord does not start finding my OneForAll Cameleon 6 (8060) remote. It just says no gaps found. It doesn't even give out any dot's, except if I manually press buttons several times. But I understood by the info that I should continuously push a button. I tried programming several different device codes for OFA. No luck. Any ideas? I tried already googling and searching lirc-list, but couldn't find an answer. |

What version are you running? Irman isn't working in 0.8.2 apparently. http://www.lirc.org/faq.html ikke wrote: > Hi, > > I'm trying to set up lirc for my Ubuntu Feisty with no success. Thanks for reminding to make better questions ;) I was in a hurry and forgot to mention I use the lirc from Feisty, so I haven't updated to 0.82 manually. Like said, the other remote works fine with irman. So it does not sound like completely broken version. Ubuntu Feisty's lirc is 0.8.1+cvs20070310-0ubuntu2. By googling around I found this forum which has a lirc setup for somebody, but it's in german and I don't get it... Anyhow there seems to be some problems, since they use raw codes, and seem to get same error from irrecord? http://vdr-portal.de/board/thread.php?threadid=8581 2007/8/29, Paul Murphy <li...@ze...>: > > What version are you running? > > Irman isn't working in 0.8.2 apparently. > > http://www.lirc.org/faq.html > > ikke wrote: > Hi, > > I'm trying to set up lirc for my Ubuntu Feisty with no success.
