Does LIRC support any USB IR Transmitters? If so where can I get one? I would like to control my TV, but do not have a serial port free. Thanks in advance. -------------------------------------------------------------- James S. White GAPS Incorporated ja...@ja... The homemade 'mi6k' device I mentioned earlier on this list can now transmit IR correctly. My original message has a description, links to code, and pictures: http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=3341084&forum_id=5339 I've been using this device for a while without any problems. The plans and software are all open source, but if there is any interest in ready-made units for sale, I could start selling them. I received a little interest in the mi6k the first time I mentioned it, but not enough to warrant having PCBs made in quantity. Maybe I should get around to giving the project a web page :) --Micah On Fri, Nov 07, 2003 at 02:36:28PM -0600, James S. It would help if you would mention how much you would be charging for a complete unit. I just bought a redrat2 and will have to hook it to a computer that has a free serial port. So I'd be willing to pay at least $120, because I just did. -------------------------------------------------------------- James S. White GAPS Incorporated ja...@ja...
