I'm trying to compile up lirc 0.6.2 and I'm finding that none of the
drivers, (lirc_haup particularly), are not being built with the "nothing
to be done for 'modules'" error/warning message. I've also tried 0.6.1 and
that does the same.
I'm compiling against 2.2.18, bttv 0.7.50, and i2c 2.5.4 all compiled
separate outside of the kernel tree.
I noticed that a couple of people have also had this problem, and I was
wondering if anyone found a solution yet.
I have found one small problem, in that the lirc configure script tries to
guess the cc settings from the kernel Makefile, and I think it's changed
recently to accomodate distros such as RH7.0 which have kgcc etc. It just
copies the first line out of the Makefile and this isn't enough as the
line has swelled to taken up multiple lines. I tried fudging it to just
gcc but now I get many errors and warnings and the drivers won't build...
Any help appreciated
