sorry if that question got already answered (yes I have look in the
archive without findind anything...).
I have an Hauppauge Win TV which works really good, I compil it using a
rm -fr lirc-0.6.4/
tar jxf /data/linux/lirc/lirc-0.6.4.tar.bz2
Then I choose TV cards, and WinTV
save and run configure
sudo make install
Well that's not that much diffiicult, but is there a way to make it
compile it "quiete" automagically regarding the version of linux in
/usr/src/linux/Makefile and installing the modules (no neeed to
recompile the whole libs/apps with each different kernel revision) in
the /lib/modules/`kernel version from /usr/src/linux/Makefile`?
I really love LIRC, thanks for providing it, I would like to see it
included (the modules) in kernel 2.5 ;-))
Please CC to me as I am not on the mailing list.
Thanks you really much,
