Hi, I want to make a IR receiver that works with B&O remotes as well as
normal remotes. I am not skilled in electronics so I wonder if someone
that is can guess what will happen if I just solder two receivers in
I have got a suitable receiver for B&O frequencies which others have had
success with before (455 kHz TSOP 5700), and a standard one
(38 kHz TSOP 2238). I intend to use the receiver/transmitter circuit
from Iguanaworks http://iguanaworks.net/ir/.
My thought is that +5V and ground will work for both receivers. And only
one receiver will give out current at the same time (since I only use
one remote), so this might work.
So my questions are:
Am I on the right track?
Will the current out from one receiver will affect the other receiver?
And of course: Will everything burn?
Thanks in advance,
