Hello,

I've bought a FTDI USB IR Blaster (http://www.irblaster.info/usb_blaster.html). I would like to use it to send IR signals to my audio amplifier.

I've built Lirc and libftdi  from sources since I use an ARM based mini-pc.

The process is described here : http://www.huitsing.nl/irftdi/

But Albert Huitsing explains to test the device:
be sure to have a valid /etc/lircd.conf ready (see LIRC website for this)
and later:
Transmitting is much more critical than receiving. In order to be able to transmit correctly a very accurate lircd.conf file is needed!

At this point, I'm lost. I can't figure out how to write a correct lircd.conf file.

At this time, my device is plugged and recognized by the system. Lirc is built, configured to use the FTDI driver.
Here comes an example of an IR code to control my amplifier:

[INPUT] 0000 006D 0000 0024 0156 00A9 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003F 0016 0015 0016 003F 0016 003F 0016 003F 0016 003F 0016 003F 0016 003F 0016 0015 0016 003F 0016 0015 0016 003F 0016 003F 0016 003F 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003F 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 0015 0016 003F 0016 003F 0016 003F 0016 003F 0016 05E6 0156 0055 0016 02F8

Could anyone explain me how to write a lircd.conf file in order to send the previous IR code with irsend?

thanks a lot,

Sylvain
