I would like to use my "Terratec Cinergy T USB XS" usb key on my Debian
Sid/experimental, but I'm not able to succesfully compile and load lirc
module from debian repository or from cvs _in order to use the remote
control. I've read lirc FAQs, but I'm not sure if I really have to recompile
the whole kernel just for lirc (I successfully loads madwifi and uvc modules).
Here some information:
here you can find the whole:
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0419:0001 Samsung Info. Systems America, Inc.
IrDA Remote Controller
bDeviceClass 0 (Defined at Interface level)
idVendor 0x0419 Samsung Info. Systems America, Inc.
idProduct 0x0001 IrDA Remote Controller
I've tried to go further, but I can't do anything. :(
I've updated lirc sources to last cvs avaible, but I don't know wich
driver have I to use.
Can anyone help me, please.... even just to say "your remote control
chipset doesn't work, stop bother us" :D
I've updated today to last cvs avaible, but I can't still configure my
irda usb controller. Did someone succeded make it working on linux?
"The paradigm of competition is a race: by
rewarding the winner, we encourage everyone
to run faster. When capitalism really works
this way, it does a good job; but its defenders
are wrong in assuming it always works this way.
If the runners forget why the reward is offered
and become intent on winning, no matter how, they
may find other strategies--such as, attacking
other runners. If the runners get into a fist
fight, they will all finish late."
