And I am sure that I did not generate the file found at
http://www.lirc.org/html/table.html manually...
And I can assure you that it does work.

I have receive a mail about my attachment (seems to be blocked)
I send again the mail without the attachment

Yes, I believe in you. But on my pc, it doesn't work. It's generate nothing :-

- Firstly, some "print" are in terminal, not in a file. I have correct this (>> test_file)
- Secondly, the first instruction "read" doesn't return anything, $REPLY is empty. I have after the first part of the script (while read.... done), an empty file in /tmp (mktemp)
-...., in the second part (while...read), there is no more things work, because ${HEURISTIC} is empty.
I think too the $REPLY is empty. I really don't understand...

I did not write it, but there is really nothing special about this
script. Can you finally get a bit more concrete what is wrong about it?

I join the file with the mail, to be sure on what we discuss. (no attachment, sorry)
I have a bit modify it ( >> essai to obtain an output file), and some return to have a more clearly view.
