So I got the way to kill it with a kill -9 PID
Now,  when I start lircd correctly I guess
'$ sudo lircd --driver=dev/input --device=/dev/input/event5
lircd: could not open config file '/etc/lircd.conf'
lircd: No such file or directory'

so I start irw to be able to make the lircd.conf but irw doesn't get anything. However the remote works because I can currently control the sound.

equip: avermedia usb2 dvb-t

All the best

Hi,

when I start lircd manually I can't stop it afterwards.
How can I kill it from the shell ?
killall lircd and kill #PID don't do anything
