It doesn't seem to be that, since the mouse (I haven't tried the pen; I should try that, too) still feels clunky even after I've commented out support for /dev/psaux in XF86Config-4. I think there's a potential problem here: the kernel seems unwilling to report the PS/2 mouse separately. /dev/psaux and /dev/input/mice report input from both the PS/2 mouse and the graphire mouse (which is reasonable), but there's only one separate mouse device /dev/input/mouse0, and that also reports input from both. And I still get this in the log, which is presumably the real issue: > Here's some of the X log: > > (II) XINPUT: Adding extended input device "NVIDIA Event Handler" (type: Other) > (**) Option "Device" "/dev/input/event0" > (==) Wacom Kernel Input driver version is 1.0.0 > (==) Wacom Unknown USB tablet speed=9600 maxX=0 maxY=0 maxZ=0 resX=2540 resY=2540 suppress=2 tilt=disabled > (==) Wacom device "gstylus" top X=0 top Y=0 bottom X=0 bottom Y=0 > (==) Wacom device "geraser" top X=0 top Y=0 bottom X=0 bottom Y=0 > (==) Wacom device "gmouse" top X=0 top Y=0 bottom X=0 bottom Y=0 > Could not init font path element /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/Speedo/, removing from list! > wacom: rel event recv'd (0)! > wacom: rel event recv'd (1)! > wacom: rel event recv'd (0)! > wacom: rel event recv'd (1)! > wacom: rel event recv'd (0)! > wacom: rel event recv'd (1)! > wacom: rel event recv'd (0)! > wacom: rel event recv'd (1)! > wacom: rel event recv'd (0)! > wacom: rel event recv'd (1)! |
