When plugging in two intuos pro M wireless tablets simultaneously, the driver crashes. Trying to interact with the driver thereafter crashes the entire USB stack, disabling all USB ports on the system.

The crash does not occur when one of the tablets is connected directly via USB, rather than wireless.

Here is the dmesg log:

    Looks like the second connected tablet triggers creating entries that are already exisitng for the first connecter tablet. You're connecting both wirelessly or both over usb?

    Both wirelessly. The issue does not occur when one is connected via wire, one connected via USB. I can test whether the issue occurs when both are connected via wire as well, if that helps any.

    We've made quite a few changes in Linux 3.17, including one that should fix this problem. I've backported a patch for the input-wacom driver, and was wondering if you wouldn't mind giving it a shot if you're comfortable compiling from source:

    $ git clone https://github.com/jigpu/input-wacom.git
    $ cd input-wacom
    $ git checkout fix/bug-248
    $ ./autogen.sh
    $ sudo modprobe -r wacom
    $ sudo insmod <directory>/wacom.ko

    It seems there are still segfaults happening, but both devices work simultaneously using the wireless dongle now. The compilation and insmodding phase went without any messages or warnings, so I assume I loaded the correct module. The dmesg log shows the driver being unloaded and re-loaded, but it doesn't give any kind of version cookie.

    I've pushed two more patches to the fix/bug-248 branch of my Github repo mentioned above. Please pull the changes and try again. It should stop the warnings from being generated.

    I've made a forced-change to the fix/bug-248 branch. If you haven't already pulled, just pull as usual. Otherwise, to ensure you have the latest code, please delete and re-clone the input-wacom repository with the instructions above. Sorry about the confusion.
