Using a server based on Fedora Core 4, kernel 2.6.19-1.2288.2.4.fc5smp, udftools-1.0.0b3-5.fc5

We are using an IOMEGA Rev 35GB to backup data across utilising a small script based on "rsync"

Every time the script runs the server crashes and the system becomes unusable.

Getting errors like this....

Any ideas what the problem might be? Do we have to format the IOMEGA cartridges? they seem to mount fine as UDF. The rsync command used to work fine at the start.
