I have two implementation linux-iscsi software.
First, 4.0.1.10 with kernel 2.6.8-1.521 working good with
default config (only DiscoveryAddress,
OutgoingUsername and OutgoingPassword changed)

Jul 27 22:00:37 gw3 iscsid[2729]: version 4:0.1.10
variant ( 8-Oct-2004)

Second, 4.0.2 with 2.6.10-1.771 kernel don't work with
same target.

What's wrong, is this a difference between default initial
settings 4.01 and 4.02 versions?

yes. 4.0.2 does not do failover so the login errors you are
getting are to portals which are not used in 4.0.1.10. You
target does not seem to be configured so that it can accept
logins to all ports at the same time.

No, it's not a simultaneous connects at same time, it;s a test
sessions step by step. 4.01 working good. 4.02 don't work.

Does your target have multiple ports? The default used to be
to establish one session. The new default is to establish
one session to each port (if you target reports more than
one port or portal group you have no control), and we are
seeing a lot of reports where the second session is failing.

I use Promise Vtrack 15200 iscsi disk array. This device
have two network ports, first in 192.168.x.x network and
second in 10.10 x.x network. Only one target set up on this
    array.

Can I customise iscsid 4.02 settings to make its behaviour
    like 4.01?
