I'm running the latest (1.10.5) in Fedora 20.  I had a crash when I
updated some feeds and then I couldn't start liferea any more.  When I
tried it with "--debug-all" I could see that it stopped right when it
was reading a particular entry (of one of the recently updated feeds).

I then installed sqliteman and opened liferea.db.  I found the entry in
the "items" table and deleted it.  Now liferea starts fine again.  My
question is:  is the db consistent?  Is there some other table/record
that I need to update after manually deleting a record?

Hi Jorge,

for such cases there is a cleanup on startup which cleans out irregularities
in the database. Don't worry.
