When using the wide view (which I always use), the horizontal pane is reset every time liferea is started. It doesn't remember the position I had set it to last time I used the program. It doesn't help that the default value used is in my case far too small (I'm using it on a 1080p LCD).

I'm using 1.10.2 compiled from source on Ubuntu 14.04 beta and 13.10.

Thanks.

Reproduced. Functionally the pane sizing is set but it doesn't get effective. Must be some race with the tray icon initialization and the window showing. This was introduced with upgrading to GTK+3.

This is fixed in git master which has no built-in tray icon anymore solving this problem. Please try git master if possible.

I assume to get git master this was correct -

      git clone https://github.com/lwindolf/liferea.git liferea

I did that, compiled it, and the bug is still not fixed. This terminal output is present multiple times:

      (liferea:10780): Gtk-CRITICAL **: _gtk_widget_captured_event: assertion 'WIDGET_REALIZED_FOR_EVENT (widget, event)' failed
