Display in liferea is unreadable due to background/font color problem.
see attached jpeg
Thankyou for liferea.
The reason for this problem is that the feed does specify a light (cyan) font color but no background color. Liferea in most cases assumes white as default background color and black/dark grey as default font color depending on your GTK+ theme.
This problem is also present in RSSOwl 2.1.6 so it is not limited to Liferea.
I think this is the feed's fault, it should
a) provide a background color
b) NOT provide any color information at all
I tried to contact the author via email but got a mail delivery failed.
As a workaround Liferea could check if contrast between font and background color is high enough if one of them is not provided, but this is just a dirty fix.
It is common:
Actually everything currently I am viewing - about 10 technology sites such as the above.
This feed does not provide any style (and color) information so it should be readable. It is displayed readable on my system. What's the exact problem?

Rendering of articles is not readable.
For all URL's the rendering is unreadable because of foreground/background colours. See first attachement above and the attachment to this post. Example. http://www.thetruthseeker.co.uk/?feed=rss2
Another Example. http://henrymakow.com/index.xml
Liferea is the standard in RSS readers, but of course I tested the same URL's in other readers and there is no problem using other readers.
Is there a debug mode for me to run and provide you with more data?
To debug the HTML please run with --debug-html, then click the article and check the XHTML dump in ~/.cache/liferea/output.xhtml
Please retest with recent 1.10-RC3 release which I believe fixed this.
I have the some problem with ALL rss. text is unreadable beacause is white.
I use Liferea 1.10.9 on ArchLinux.
I tried to change LXDE theme but it still doesn't work.
