When marking the currently viewed item as unread, the background color in the item's view pane changes to a light shade of yellow.

I don't know why it should do that, I find it a bit annoying because it slightly decreases contrast and it typically breaks blog posts that use images (especially images that expect the background to be white)...

Fixed in git master. To be released with 1.9.7 soon.
